Au sommaire de cet ISA-Flash : - L'ISA devient « The International Society of Automation » - Nelson Ninin nommé Society President-elect Secretary - Les standards ISA progressent - Un nouveau CD Rom sur la sécurité fonctionnelle - ISA/IEC : a productive collaboration to serve device integration and connectivity - Formation - Le calendrier des grandes manifestations 2009 L'ISA devient « The International Society of Automation » Lors de la réunion de son conseil tenue lors de l'ISA Expo à Houston le 13 octobre dernier, l'ISA a décidé de devenir « The International Society of Automation » abandonnant ainsi l'ancienne appellation « The Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society ». Selon la Présidente de l'ISA, Kim Miller Dunn, la nouvelle appellation reflète mieux le caractère international de l'ISA et le terme «Automation » englobe de façon suffisamment large tous les aspects de son domaine d'activité, y compris celui de l'instrumentation. Ce changement, qui n'affecte pas la vie quotidienne de l'Association, a été approuvé à une large majorité. Nelson Ninin nommé Society President-elect Secretary Nelson Ninin (Yokogawa America Do Sul SA) a été nommé Society President-elect Secretary à compter du 1er janvier 2009. Il succèdera ainsi à Gerald Cockrell qui remplacera Kim Miller Dunn à la même date. Les standards ISA progressent Les standards ISA99 (cyber-sécurité), ISA100 (communications sans fil) et B2MML (Business To Manufacturing Markup Language) ont enregistré des progrès importants: - La partie 2 du standard ISA99 « Security for Industrial Automation and Control Systems: Establishing an Industrial Automation and Control Systems Security Program" a été approuvée début octobre et est en phase de finalisation éditoriale. - Le draft 2 de l'ISA100.11a, premier standard de la série ISA100, a recueilli une large majorité de votes favorables au sein du comité ISA SP100. Toutefois un nombre important de commentaires techniques ou éditoriaux doivent être pris en compte avant approbation à la majorité des 2/3. Celle-ci pourrait intervenir en février 2009. Les travaux des sous-comités "WirelessHART Convergence" (ISA100.12), "Trustworthy Wireless" (ISA100.14), "Wireless Backhaul Backbone Networks" (ISA100.15), "People and Asset Tracking and Identification" (ISA100.21) se poursuivent activement. - La nouvelle spécification XML Schema B2MML V4.01 vient d'être publiée www.wbf.org . Parmi les évolutions, on notera le regroupement avec BatchML, faisant de B2MML l'implémentation de référence commune aux deux normes ISA88 et ISA95. Cette option a été retenue pour compléter la couverture des dernières évolutions de la norme ISA88, en particulier la partie 3 (spécification du produit) et la partie 4 (information de production), cette dernière intégrant les modèles ISA95. Le WBF, "the Forum for Automation and Manufacturing Professional", fait partie avec l'OMAC, www.omac.org de l'Automation Federation www.automationfederation.org animée par l'ISA. Un nouveau CD-Rom sur la sécurité fonctionnelle (ISA84 et IEC 61508) Le séminaire sur "Les évolutions méthodologiques et normatives de la sécurité fonctionnelle" organisé à St Martin d'Hères le 16 octobre 2008, en partenariat avec Polytech'Grenoble a connu un très grand succès. Un CD-Rom regroupant l'ensemble des présentations est disponible auprès d'ISAFrance au prix de 100 (90 pour les membres ISA). ISA / IEC : a productive collaboration to serve device integration and connectivity Christian Verney
ISA is setting the standard for automation and playing a leadership role in the definition and promotion of standards for automation. "Automation is the creation and application of technology to monitor and control the production of products and services." Accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), ISA has published standards addressing enterprise control, security, safety, batch control, fieldbus... The IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) is the world's leading organization that prepares and publishes international standards for all electrical, electronic and related technologies. The TC65 "Industrial Process Measurement, Control and Automation" prepares standards for systems and elements used for industrial-process measurement and control concerning continuous and batch processes. Both organisations have a common objective: To support the integration of devices into systems and to increase connectivity. Device Integration a key point for the end users and the manufacturers Device integration makes the information and functions of field devices accessible for various tasks in the life cycle of a system, during the engineering process, commissioning and plant operation
The large number of different device types and suppliers within a control system project makes the device integration task difficult and time-consuming. The exchange of data between devices, control systems and engineering tools can run smoothly only when both the information to be exchanged and the use of this information have been clearly defined. Data modelization is the second basic
A set of standards is dedicated to device modelization: - IEC 62390 "Device profile guideline": A common view on, how to write a device profile adopted by a lot of IEC and ISO committees. - IEC 61804-3 /ISA S104 EDDL as Electronic Device Description Language allows creation of EDD files which are interpreted by the host system - IEC 62453-x /ISA S103 FDT for Field Device is an interface specification and a driver that represents the device. - IEC 62541 OPC-UA a specification of a common interface designed to expose information models. Two series of standards are dedicated to the data presentation: - ISA S88 standards / IEC 61512 define reference models for batch control as used in the process industries. - IEC 62264-x, the IEC/ISO version of the well known ISA S95 specifications call "Enterprise control system integration"
